  • Sales Representative

    Blissfield, Michigan

    Our growing business is looking for a Sales Representative to increase sales in our Midwestern United States territory. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing contact with existing customers, identifying new opportunities, and following up on potential leads. The Sales Representative will also monitor industry trends in order to identify emerging markets and develop plans to utilize those markets to expand revenue.   • Production Draftsman

    Meridian, Idaho

    As a Production Draftsman based in our Idaho office, you will be responsible for producing production drawings using AutoCAD and other design software and work orders for CNC manufacturing. The ideal candidate must be very detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.

  • Plan Reviewer

    Meridian, Idaho

    Our award-winning business is looking for a PLAN REVIEWER. If you have prior experience in architecture and plan reviews, we want to talk to you. PFB Custom Homes Group (located in Meridian, ID) includes the brands: Riverbend Timber Framing, PrecisionCraft Log & Timber Homes, Point Zero Homes, TimberScape Outdoor Living Structures, and M.T.N Design. Each home brand provides clients with our exclusive Total Home Solution™ for building custom homes in the US, Canada, and Internationally.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    The Plan Reviewer will be responsible for ensuring our internal construction drawings are accurate for outside building and manufacturing projects.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Knowledge
    • Bachelor’s degree of Architecture
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D-Modeling
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
    • Construction knowledge and experience
    • Ability to read construction drawings
    Skills
    • Review Construction Drawings for structural accuracy and building codes
    • Work with Production Drafting Manager for accuracy in manufacturing product details and buildability
    • Review Engineering Redlines or County Redlines
    • Review PFB product details for accuracy
    • Review Change Order drawings and Take-offs for accuracy
    • On-site design meetings and site visits
    • Work directly with Project Managers, Engineers and builders through project completion
    • Oversee and guide Design Trainees
    • Meet project due dates and timelines
    • Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor or management
    • Ability to uphold our high standards of quality
    • Sense of urgency mindset with an assertive “let’s get it done” attitude
    • Detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills

  • Manufacturing Operations Assistant

    Meridian, Idaho

    The PFB Custom Homes Group, a growing log and timber frame manufacturer, is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Assistant based out of our Meridian, ID location to assist the operations group with manufacturing related responsibilities.

    Duties and Responsibilities Include

    • Assist with daily purchasing of miscellaneous materials and supplies
    • Receive in and track inventory
    • Maintain, update and assist with OSHA record keeping and corporate safety programs
    • Provide support to the Operations Manager with various duties and projects
    • Attend and participate in operations meetings as necessary

    Skills, Knowledge and Requirements

    • Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Computer skills (Word, Excel)
    • Knowledge of the construction industry recommended
    • Familiarity with inventory/ purchasing helpful
    • High level of professionalism and integrity
    • Excellent organizational, decision making and problem-solving skills
    • Self-directed, able to work independently and as part of a team
    • Able to set, coordinate, and accomplish multiple competing priorities

    Salary is commensurate with experience, profit sharing, and benefits also available. Relocation is not available for this position.

    Duties and Responsibilities Include

    • This is an entry level position responsible for assisting with the execution of any and all tasks associated with the fabrication of milled and timber frame product lines
    • Adhere to employee manual, safety procedures, and all company policies and processes
    • Work as a member of the operations team in all assigned tasks
    • Operation and basic maintenance of all equipment in the operations department including, but not limited to: forklifts, miscellaneous shop machines, and hand tools
    • Loading/unloading of trucks and wood inventory control

    Skills, Knowledge and Requirements

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Basic math, measuring, and computer skills
    • Prior forklift/inventory experience helpful
    • Fast paced, task-oriented environment
    • Repetitious lifting of up to 50 pounds
    • Continuous bending, twisting, and standing up to 10-12 hours per day in a manufacturing facility or in an outdoor environment, occasionally on build-site
