  • Fabricator/Installer | Blissfield, MI & Meridian, ID

    We are seeking Fabricators and Installers for our timber manufacturing plants in Blissfield, MI and Meridian, ID. PFB Custom Homes values its employees by offering competitive compensation packages, including incentive, quarterly, and profit-sharing bonuses, as well as on the job training, benefits, and paid time off.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assisting with the execution of any and all tasks associated with the fabrication of timber frame product lines.
    • Work as a member of the operations team in all assigned tasks.
    • Operation of all equipment in the operations department including, but not limited to: forklifts, machinery, and hand tools.
    • Adhere to employee manual, safety procedures and all company policies and processes.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Construction math, measuring and basic computer skills helpful
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively
    • Continuous bending, twisting, and standing in an indoor/outdoor manufacturing facility and occasionally on build-sites

  • Custom Homes Sales Representative | Blissfield, MI

    Our growing business is looking for a Custom Homes Sales Representative. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing contact with existing customers, identifying new opportunities, and following up on potential leads. The Sales Representative will also monitor industry trends to identify emerging markets and develop plans to utilize those markets to expand revenue. If you have prior experience in outside custom home sales and a desire to expand your career, we want to hear from you.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
    • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
    • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
    • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
    • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
    • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
    • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
    • Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
    • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
    • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
    • Continuously improve through feedback
    • Generate sales reports each week and submitting them to management
    • Utilize all available resources to reach out to prospects and attempt to turn those prospects into customers

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Knowledge

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
    • 3-5 years of successful experience in sales
    • 2-3 years of successful building materials sales experience
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office products; CRM proficiency a plus
    • Basic knowledge of business finance
    • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements

  • Residential Construction Project Manager | Blissfield, MI & Meridian, ID

    PFB Custom Homes Group is seeking an entry-level Project Manager in Residential Construction to join our growing team. This position will be based out of Blissfield, MI or Meridian, ID.

    Our clients appreciate our one-of-a-kind heavy timber designs, our attention to detail, and our commitment to the use of sustainable, high-efficiency, and high-quality materials. We are looking for a Project Manager in Residential Construction with similar values and beliefs who can translate his or her expertise and skills to our growth initiatives. Experience with project management and new residential construction will make you an excellent fit for our team. You will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects at once and communicating directly with our in-house Sales, Design, and Accounting Departments as well as customers and subcontractors on custom residential projects.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Oversee high-end residential construction projects from conception to completion on both design-build and project management level
    • Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
    • Negotiate terms of subcontractor work order agreements, draft subcontracts, and obtain permits
    • Oversee all on-site and off-site construction to monitor compliance with plan specifications, building and safety regulations
    • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
    • Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
    • Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques

  • Design-Build Project Coordinator | Meridian, ID

    PFB Custom Homes Group, LLC is a national company based in Meridian, ID with several brands in the timber frame, log, and energy efficient markets. Under the brands of PrecisionCraft Log & Timber Homes, Riverbend Timber Framing, Point Zero Homes, M.T.N Design, and Insulspan, PFB Custom Homes Group designs, fabricates and builds luxurious, energy-efficient, custom log homes and timber frame homes across North America and internationally.

    We are seeking a Design-Build Project Coordinator based out of our Meridian, ID location to assist the Design-Build group with accounting related responsibilities.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Work hand in hand distributing information with/to/for Project Managers and Accounting
    • Organize and manage online project files in a consistent manner to easily find documents
    • Coordinate with Project Managers, Subcontractors, and Vendors to gather all necessary documents for vendor setup including W-9, COI, and Licenses
    • Review Open WO/PO’s to determine if they are complete, correct, and still valid
    • Review subcontractor/vendor invoices for correct and valid information; and work with vendors to get corrected documents if necessary
    • Create Pay-Application Templates Monthly
    • Verify and update previous pay applications “paid to date” values
    • Review, verify and update monthly pay applications values
    • Gather and assemble monthly Draw Packet for accounting
    • Lien Waiver Compliance
    • Assist accounting/admin in new project setup & state-by-state compliance
    • Create and setup new reports for job analyses
    • Work with Project Managers/Accounting/IT to implement automation items
    • Ad hoc tasks

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Create unique high end custom designs for clients utilizing PFB products.
    • Create conceptual/schematic designs and Construction drawings that meet building codes.
    • Coordinate with consultants needed for design and construction.
    • On-site design meetings and site visits.
    • Work directly with Project Managers, Engineers and builders through project completion.
