  • Journeyman Carpenter/Framer | Meridian, ID

    PFB Custom Homes Group, an award-winning custom log and timber homes business is looking for a Journeyman Carpenter/Framer. We are looking for a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual, who loves a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Are you passionate about building custom homes? Enjoy working with an entrepreneurial team? Have excellent skills as a craftsman? You must be familiar with current woodworking and construction methods, practices, systems, and materials, from start to finish. You will be asked to engage and take interest in the precise execution and completion of each customer project.


    The Journeyman Carpenter will coordinate with the operations group to execute any and all tasks associated with the fabrication and installation of the timber frame and structural insulated panel (SIP) product lines.


    General Responsibilities:

    • Adhere to employee manual, safety procedures and all company policies and processes
    • Work as a member of the operations team in all assigned tasks

    Specific Responsibilities:

    • Read plans, blueprints, job orders, and drawings
    • Determine which tools are needed for projects
    • Fabricate product at manufacturing facility
    • Install product at job-site



    • 3+ years’ experience in carpentry required
    • Extensive knowledge of power tools, including skill saw, miter saw and jigsaw
    • Possession of basic hand tools and reliable transportation to job sites
    • Willingness to work overtime when necessary to deliver the project on time
    • Willingness to travel 60+% of the time
    • Capable of climbing on ladders and carrying at least 80 pounds
    • Knowledge of lumber grades
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Basic math and measuring skills
    • Basic computer skills
    • Prior construction is required



    • Fast paced, task-oriented environment
    • Repetitious lifting of up to 80 pounds
    • Continuous bending, twisting and standing up to 10 hours per day in a manufacturing facility or an outdoor environment during installation at build site

  • Administrative & Operations Support Assistant | Meridian, ID

    PFB Custom Homes Group, LLC is a national company based in Meridian, ID with several brands in the timber frame, log, and energy efficient markets.

    We are seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented, multi-tasking individual who can have an immediate impact on our business. As Administrative & Operations Support Assistant, you will have a broad range of responsibilities including:

    • Answering phones
    • Sorting mail and managing shipments
    • Providing administrative support to company executives and accounting department including special projects and travel arrangements
    • Working with Operations team to develop processes and documents as well as travel logistics and itinerary booking
    • Coordinating tradeshows and other events
    • Providing customer support and service
    • Assisting other departments as requested


    Skills, Knowledge, and Requirements

    • Self-starter and problem-solver who is able to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
    • Extreme attention to detail
    • Proven and demonstrated skills in organization, multi-tasking, communication, and confidentiality
    • Tech savvy with the ability to pick up new programs and apps quickly
    • High school graduate, 2- or 4-year college degree a plus
