About Riverbend Timber Framing
Riverbend Timber Framing was established in 1979 as a producer of quality timber frame homes built using traditional mortise and tenon techniques. Over the years we have adapted to changing building styles to incorporate highly-efficient structural insulated panels (SIPs) into our homes. We believed in this building technique so much that we created our own SIP company - Insulspan. Today we are a leader in the design, fabrication and production of beautiful, energy efficient timber frame homes across North America.
In 2004 we were acquired by Plasti-Fab out of Calgary, Alberta Canada - the manufacturer of the EPS foam we use for our SIPs. PFB saw Riverbend as a perfect addition to their family because of our commitment to building high-quality, well-insulated homes. In February of 2011, PFB purchased PrecisionCraft Log and Timber Homes and formed a new sub corporation, PFB Custom Homes Group. Together, with the strong backing of our parent company, we create extraordinary homes which combine creative design, quality wood structures, flexible construction solutions, and energy-efficient products. We call this our Total Home Solution™.
