Regardless of where you live, Riverbend offers the experience needed to help you design and build the timber frame home of your dreams.

 Craftsman-style in Colorado

timber frame craftsman style home
Colorado Craftsman style home, designed and built to maximize its astounding views

This Colorado timber frame home offers classic Craftsman style design including large bungalow porches, deep overhangs, and intricate timber framing. The two-level home’s interior features tall ceilings and an open main living space with a grand view.

An important design factor for the couple was that the home interact with their majestic 35 acres that face Mt. Garfield. Thus, the inclusion of a sunroom, two expansive decks, and porch created the perfect solution for enjoying these vistas. See this Grand Junction timber frame dream home here.

Modifying in Ohio

Melody Lane Modifications
Inspired by our Melody Lane design concept, this Ohio home was beautifully modified by its owners

Truly a dream home, this Traditional style timber frame home was based upon Riverbend’s charming Melody Lane design concept. Additionally, our custom design process easily accommodated the Ohio couple’s need for more space. This included adding another master bedroom on the second floor for the couple’s parents.

Riverbend’s designers also turned the original concept’s two-car garage 45 degrees, subsequently creating a better fit for their lot. Through all of the changes, the look and feel of the original Melody Lane can still be seen in their custom timber home. Browse this lovely home’s photo gallery here.

 Complete Customization in Alberta

Energy Efficient
Old Quebec lives in Alberta with this unique, custom design

This Alberta farmhouse is an original design inspired by the culture of the country itself. The couple loved the rustic rock and timber framing of old Quebec City, and therefore wanted that design style incorporated into their Calgary dream home.

In addition to the specific look and feel they wanted to attain, the couple also wanted a highly energy efficient home. Riverbend’s inclusion of structural insulated panels (SIPs), insulating concrete forms (ICFs) and other energy efficient technologies subsequently helped this home receive an EnerGuide rating of 86!
