You may already have an idea of what your finished timber home will look like, but before you can start to make that dream a reality, you need a plan. You can choose between two paths when creating your custom timber home design.

Riverbend’s award-winning in-house design team will work with you in creating a design, either from our portfolio of design concepts or completely from scratch.
Or, Riverbend will work with a design from an architect or designer with whom you are already collaborating.

Working with Riverbend’s Architectural Designers

Riverbend employs professional, architectural designers who can create an amazing plan that fits your lifestyle, location, and turnkey budget goals. Our team of in-house designers will work with you to plan or modify your custom design to create the timber frame home of your dreams.

Designing to Your Budget

At Riverbend, we offer custom mountain home plans that reflect both your lifestyle and your unique landscape. Choose from ready-to-build and customizable options in various styles to meet your requirements. Our team can ensure your new home’s design and construction will fit perfectly on your piece of land. We’ll also make any plan modifications you desire to create your dream home.

Working with Your Architect

If you already have a design from your architect or designer, Riverbend can work with these outside drawings in two ways depending on the level detail included on the plans.

Dimensioned Drawings

If your plans already include timber material dimensions, Riverbend can create a modeled structure and a firm price quote for the finished timber materials shipped to your build site. The finished materials are created by the same in-house team of experienced artisans and are the same quality you expect from Riverbend Timber Framing.

Design Consultation Agreement

If your original design does not include a timber frame or the included timber frame does not include dimensions, you will sign a Design Consultation Agreement (DCA). For a minimal cost per square foot, we will work with you and your designer to create a timber frame structure based on the concept that is provided. Then, we will provide you a firm price quote for the materials based on our drawing.
