Riverbend Timber Framing Hosts Raising in Archbold, Ohio

Blissfield, Michigan, November 16, 2018—Riverbend Timber Framing, located in Blissfield, Michigan, is proud to announce that it raised another timber frame in Archbold, Ohio between November 12 and 16, 2018.

This week’s timber raising is for a beautiful private residence and will include an oak timber frame and trusses. The main level features an open floor plan and large windows throughout, allowing for abundant natural light to fill the entire space. Designed with aging-in-place in mind, the master suite is conveniently located on the main level. The second level is home to a cozy loft, an office, and a wrap-around balcony that overlooks the great room, and leads to the second bedroom and bathroom. Located on the third level is a lookout room, strategically placed to enjoy the surrounding landscape. The home was designed, manufactured, and will be installed by the in-house team at Riverbend Timber Framing.

While Riverbend Timber Framing designs and builds homes throughout North America, the company is no stranger to the Archbold area. This is Riverbend’s fourth project in the town. Previous projects include The Heritage Inn, the Lockport Bridge, and Mark Nafziger’s pottery studio at Sauder’s Village. In addition, this timber frame raising is one of three that Riverbend is completing in Northwest Ohio before the end of 2018.
