This stunning lake home is unmistakably influenced by the couple’s trip through Europe, where they fell in love with this architectural style. The exterior mixes actual timber trusses with faux half-timbering, stucco, and stone to create the effect.
Inside, beautiful timber framing flows seamlessly throughout the spaces creating an atmosphere of warmth and beauty. There are stunning timber trusses in the vaulted great room, overhead joists that cross the dining room, and an impressive Boston truss in the sunroom that comes from each corner to a dramatic point in the center of the room.
