In the past we have written about some of our favorite plans here at Riverbend and what we loved about each one. Today, we asked Amber, our Administrative Assistant and often our first interaction with clients when they contact us, which concepts in our gallery are her favorites and why.
Fairfield — What I enjoy most about the Fairfield is how the stone entryway seems to pop from the rest of the front elevation. This lends to a more rugged look, while still blending into the modern feel of the rest of the design. Stepping through this front entry, you are greeted by an open great room that separates the master bedroom from the rest of the home, which is great for privacy. I think the bridge connecting the two halves of the second level provides a unique flow as it opens to the great room below. I also like how the garage is offset in a way that allows for easy access as well as added seclusion.
Tuscany — The Tuscany is a design full of dramatically slopped rooflines and French country inspired dormers. While the look of traditional timber is something I’m drawn to, I do enjoy the use of stone throughout the exterior. The kitchen plays well into the rest of the main living spaces with the configuration of the island and counter space. You also can’t go wrong with his and hers walk-in closets and sinks in the master suite. Looking at the upper level, the use of sky lights is visually appealing and a fantastic way to allow natural light in. Overall, the Tuscany’s entire floor plan just flows in an efficient and attractive way.
Sonoma Hills — I absolutely love the large view window, use of stone, and dynamic roof ridges on the Sonoma Hills rear elevation. It’s interior and exterior layout makes outdoor living easy and fun with a large wraparound patio, an outdoor kitchen and dining area and several pop outs for different property views. The energy of the home’s exterior design flows into the interior floor plan. I love the kitchen’s accommodating multiple work stations. The master suite is private yet connected at the same time with its own entrance to the patio and a fireplace that connects to the great room fireplace. The two suites on the second level and the above garage suite are also a great idea for homeowners who will be expecting a lot of out of town visitors.
Lexington — The Lexington has such a characteristically colonial look. The layout provides many different angles and corners that make up unique living spaces. Anyone could fall in love with the size of the master suite’s walk-in closet and its private sitting area. I also like how the garage angles to create an L-shape footprint, providing more privacy for the home.
Hyannis — What drew my eye to the Hyannis was the multiple levels and porches. I can just picture it built on a beachfront property, offering outstanding views on every level. I like how the kitchen opens up to the great room for entertaining and that there is a large pantry available. The multi-purpose capability of the sunroom/dining room makes it a great space for sitting and enjoying the natural light and views alone or at a dinner table with friends.
