Project Management - A Seamless Approach

Building a custom timber frame home requires coordination of many variables from the time you start the design until the day you turn the key and enter your new home. As part of our Total Home Solution® your Riverbend project manager will take over as your primary point of contact, once the design process is complete. He will coordinate your timber home project starting with the fabrication of your timber frame, providing a seamless transition from design to manufacturing and finished construction.

Timeline Management

Your project manager will be introduced to you during your initial design meeting. Although he may not have a large role to play at first, knowledge of your overall project and property will become important later on. There are many things that must be done between the time you approve your design and when construction can begin. As an important member of your Riverbend team, your project manager will oversee each stage of your timeline.

Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Ensure building permit is secure (if required)
• Coordinate the schedule of timber and SIP production to match the scheduled ship date
• Work to achieve Just-in-Time delivery of product once foundation is complete (reducing construction time)
• Manage your Design Build project or be a direct contact to your selected builder for questions and technical assistance
