For the design portion of your dream home, you have essentially three design path alternatives that you can choose from that best suits your needs. These paths are custom design, modifying an existing Riverbend design, or using an existing Riverbend design.

Custom Design There is a great deal more work involved with the custom design process. The delivery time for a custom designed home is approximately 26 weeks.
Modifying a Riverbend design You can modify an existing Riverbend plan to create the best fit for your lifestyle and dream home. The typical delivery time for a modified design is approximately 18 weeks.
Using an existing Riverbend design You can also choose an existing design from the Riverbend Plan Book. We currently offer over 40 different plans. This design path would allow for delivery in approximately 8 weeks.

Before you choose which design path suits you, there are some variables to consider

• Should you hire a professional designer?
• Do you have a clear idea of what your home will look like?
• Can you provide the necessary documents for financing, permits and construction?
• Do you know the code requirements and building regulations?
• Do you know all the materials, building systems, structural requirements and other details necessary to design a home?
