Bruce Bode is the Eastern Region Sales Manager for Riverbend Timber Framing. Bode arrived at Riverbend in 2009 with five years of experience working for a timber frame manufacturer. He has worn many hats in the timber frame industry, from sales and service to advertising, design guidance, estimating, ordering timbers, and project management. Bode now provides support to all Riverbend representatives in the eastern U.S. and Canada, while conducting sales in the Cleveland, Ohio, area.



Bode started in the construction industry as a builder and journeyman carpenter. Over a period of 20 years, he has built conventional homes that ranged in size from 500 to 15,000 square feet, log homes of all shapes and styles, and timber frame homes from full frames to hybrids.

In 2010, Bode was elected vice president of the Timber Frame Business Council after two years of serving on its board of directors. He has also been a member of the National Association of Homebuilders and Rotary International. He currently lives in Newbury, Ohio, with his wife and four children. He enjoys woodworking, motorcycling, sailing and gardening.
